Lab 3-4: 

Sending Push Notifications

In this exercise, we are using the PushBullet application which allows us to send messages and files from our computer to mobile devices, and vice-versa.

This is a quick alternative to transfer our files to other devices that we own. 

Reflection

However, I attempted to send a video file and it took a very long time to send over. Hence, I can conclude that PushBullet is only beneficial for sending messages or smaller files, like documents.

Launching Google Maps

Creating a program that launches Google Maps based on the location indicated makes it very efficient to search the travelling route and location details without using Google.

This can be implemented in an app, where it redirects you to GoogleMaps, showing the details of the desired location.

Scraping images from Amazon

This program makes the download of images more convenient and efficient.

​

Within 5 seconds, 9 images can be downloaded. It saves a lot of time compared to the standard way of going to each link and downloading the images.

 

This can be a good implementation for an app that helps to download files efficiently.
