I learnt about Sprint Planning, which is usually a time-boxed event of 8 hours for a 4 weeks sprint. There are 2 parts to the meeting; review of product backlog items with the Product Owner, and how the work will the built. Requirements are documented as Theme, Epic, User Stories, and Tasks. Story points are used to estimate the time to complete the requirements.
To document these requirements, my team used aTrello board. We documented based on our solutions discussed last week and categorized them by the features we intend to implement. This would give us a visual aid on our project progress and current task allocation.
We also had a class activity called the "Dog Game", which essentially taught us how to estimate story points for our user stories and tasks. We should not estimate every user story/task individually, and instead compare them to other user stories/tasks we have.
At the end of this week, we were able to finalize on the design for the Ukiyo website and started to code the front end.
